Unemployed Youth (M:F)

According to the World Bank, the term ‘unemployed youth’ refers to the percentage of the total labour force aged 15 to 24 years of age who are without work and are available and actively seeking employment. The following chart is an indication of the percentage of unemployed youth based on sex. The statistical data in the chart is based on the numbers in the Namibia Integrated Employment Information System. As indicated, most of the youth registered on the system are female, making up over 60% of unemployed youth.
