Namibia At Work has made it a priority to reach as many job seekers as possible. It is important that all Namibians have the opportunity to get themselves registered with the Namibia Intergrated Employment Information System so as to allow them an equal chance to enjoy the benefits that come with being a registered job seeker. So Namibia At Work took to the road.
Not only did the programme have officials working across the country in different constituencies, but officials working with the programme as a mobile team travelled from town to town registering as many people as possible. Some of the places visited include Dordabis and Stinkwater where job seekers were eager to get themselves registered, insisting that it is very difficult to find work due to the lack of development in those areas. The crowds in the north, specifically in areas such as Ongwediva and Oshakati openly welcomed the crew of data capturers with the excitement of getting themselves registered with high hopes. Other areas visited for registration also include small villages and locations close to Okahanja, and others in the North such as those near Oshikango where especially large numbers of job seekers were registered.
